1080p LCD TV If you prefer the look of a flat panel high definition
television over a bulkier 1080p rear projection HDTV, a Full HD 1080p flat panel LCD TV may be the way to go, especially if you'll be doing a good portion of your viewing during
daylight hours in a bright room.
1080p flat panel plasma TVs typically perform their best in a darkened room. LCD TVs are also not
susceptible to image retention and burn-in that can sometimes cause problems for plasma TVs.
Because 1080p LCD
televisions are thin like plasmas, they are wall mountable if you've got a sturdy enough
wall, however most LCD TVs DO NOT include any wall mounting hardware, so you'll need to purchase your wall mount bracket separately if you
plan on wall mounting it.
As you can see by all the
highlighted 1080p TV brand names in the left column, most major
consumer electronics manufacturers offer 1080p LCD HDTVs. The
three 1080p LCD televisions pictured on this page each feature
120 Hz high frame rate anti-blur technology. |
