If you're not connecting your 1080p television or 1080p front projector to a home theater surround sound audio system, you
won't get the full audio/video experience. Projectors have NO audio speaker system of any kind, so you must connect
a separate home theater system. For most setups, the best way to do it is to connect each of your 1080p HD sources as well as other 1080i,
720p, and non-HD video source components with the best type of output cables (HDMI, component video, S-Video, etc.) to a 1080p AV receiver that upscales
video to 1080p output through a single HDMI cable. That way you'll be able to do most of your
switching through the receiver and leave your 1080p TV or projector switched to a single input. We recommend the Denon AVR-4308CI home theater receiver pictured to the right which features 4 HDMI 1.3a inputs which allow more information to be
passed, so it supports 36-bit color depth and xvYCC color space, meaning an even broader range of colors can be used. Simultaneous dual HDMI ouput means you can set up two 1080p TVs or projectors in different zones and run them at the same time! |
